Robert Spohn is a Berks County native, born and raised in Reading, PA. He graduated from Reading High School and holds a Degree in Graphic Design. Robert started working at Feeney Funeral Home to allow for a more flexible work-life balance which opened up the opportunity to pursue an additional career as a Real Estate Investor. Robert has flipped multiple single-family homes and manages many rental properties in the area. As the real estate market started to take a turn, Robert began to pursue other opportunities to give back to the community he loves. This brought him to meet the previous owner of Lausch’s Moving Company who at the time, owned a warehouse that Robert was interested in purchasing to convert into apartment units. After determining that this was not the right project for him, he approached Jeff Pasko with interest in the moving business. They worked out a deal at the beginning of this year and Robert is now the new owner of Lausch’s Moving Company. With Robert’s previous experience at Rent-A-Center and Aaron’s Sales and Lease, he felt this opportunity would be a perfect fit for his background market knowledge and diverse experience. Upon taking ownership, Robert has fallen in love with all aspects of the moving business. He loves meeting and taking care of customers and strives to provide great customer service every day to ease the worries of the moving process. At Lausch’s you can find a positive, family style atmosphere which Robert feels is a vital factor to the success of the team as a whole. Robert enjoys following basketball and football and enjoys bowling on occasion. Robert has organized many bowling events with the entire Lausch’s team as a way to strengthen the team’s bond outside of work. Robert’s main goal is to build Lausch’s up stronger than it ever has been!
I began working for Lausch’s Moving Company in October 2022 as their Social Media Marketing Manager. I was incredibly impressed with the family style work environment and devotion to customer satisfaction that every member of the team carried with them daily. Choosing to partner with Lausch’s to further grow my career was a simple decision because their ethics aligned perfectly with mine. I hold a B.S. in Business Administration – Human Resource Management from Liberty University and an active PA Real Estate License. I look forward to utilizing my diverse background and education to help grow this company to its fullest potential! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, coaching elite cheer and tumble, book club, and being with my animals!
I was in search of a physical job that would not only help me build muscle, but mentally challenge me as well. What I like most about Lausch’s Moving Company is being able to provide sufficient skills, excellent time management and ease our customers’ worries about moving/relocating. I’ve worked for Lausch’s since the beginning of 2022, but I personally worked with the owner, Robert Spohn, since the Summer of 2021. In my spare time, I like to keep busy doing side jobs and working for UPS.
My friend referred me to Lausch’s Moving Company. After my first day, I knew that I wanted to continue working there and watch how fast we would grow into a strong team. I think I’ve been working here since April of 2022. I like how well we work as a team and I love to see the positive notes from customers because it motivates me. On my off days, I spend time with my kids and I play basketball almost every day.
I have been with Lausch’s Moving Company for 10 years. I was originally led to the company through a mutual friend of mine that knew the prior owner. Some of my favorite aspects of my job are the opportunities to meet different customers and complete out-of-state moves. In my free time, I enjoy attending car shows and watching auto racing. I also enjoys shooting pool.
